4 weeks to go

I'm feeling like we are on one of those renovation / the block shows.

We have 4 weeks to our completion date and there is plenty still to be done .

It's pretty hard to get a parking spot at the house during the week, with many tradies coming and going .

Still to be completed -roller doors , jarrah flooring - plumbing fixtures & toilets to be installed , painting throughout the whole house , some tile grouting , staircase , concrete driveways , concrete on deck to be polished, 2 windows to be changed over to frosted glass & exterior tiling ...

We are leaving kitchen appliances right up to the end as there has been a few recent break ins and all appliances going out the door . ALL this in 4 Weeks ????

The render colours are all on & I'm really pleased with the finished result . I was nervous to use the dark colours but can't wait to see the landscaping against the walls .

I have been busy with selecting the blinds and window dressing . I have made the choice of a grey sunblock roller that will close out the sun on the west windows but still allow the view . I will see how effective they are this summer and have the option of adding another roller is still too bright .

The other windows are linen roller blinds , some total blackout and some 50%.

I have also selected linen sheer curtains in 2 bedrooms.

Finally I made the choice and purchased a lounge for the living area upstairs.

Again I used the linen colour and teamed it with navy cushions and a navy occasional chair .

This week is paint choices & treads on the stairs .
