Now with the family home Sold, its time to start putting pressure on the builders to get our new home finished before settlement date of Sep 1st.

Progress has been at a steady pace and not too many hold ups from the rain.

Last week after the cabinets being delivered the builders had no option but to get it locked up. and fast !

Designing the layout and colour choices of all the cabinets was a challenge , but

I have been happy with how they have come together and looking forward to seeing them installed & complete .

I chose to add a tasmanian ash laminate to allow the flow of colour from downstairs to upstairs, I have used this in the staircase and again in the kitchen , study & robe .

The light fittings also carry this coulor through the house .

We chose to line the deck ceiling with western red cedar, we also had it oiled and not vanished to eliminate the maintenance needed .
